Not quite sure why you would want to be proud of an 883, Drive your gv250 and find out that thee is nothing wrong with a Korean bike. Sounding like another brainwashed Harley rider.

I cant get the the regs anymore, best bet is go with roadster.

You also dont want to plug the mosfet direct into the oem loom, it cant handle 30amps current output to charge the battery after starting.

There's a lot of threads on this matter already. People generally agree the Honda calipers are better as they have better tolerances/seal quality etc.
I don't think that it is easy to prove copying, it is possible that nobody picked it up, or it was done under agreement.

It also depends on if they patented the specific caliper design. I do not know patent law well enough to comment.

Yes you can find honda parts new. They will easily cost $300 USD each.
You would probably end up paying something like 1000$ to track a pair down. Is it worth it? Hell no.

Getting stranded by your bike is annoying and extremely inconvenient, but aren't you being a little dramatic?

As far as I know, this is the only "NEW" Hyosung being (not pre-registered old stock) sold in the UK and will probably end up being branded as a Sinnis

https://www.sinnismotorcycles.com/product-hyosung-aquila-gv125cc/

There are still some dealers selling Hyosungs at very much reduced prices.  New GT650R for 3999... that's what I paid in 2007
The GV300S is identical to the 125, they're being sold around Asia. It's a shame really, Hyosung had real potential to be a contender in the middle weight class.

I have a couple of questions;

First, since Hyosung copied the Nissen calipers (how did they not get sued anyway?), would there be an actual benefit in replacing the copies with the originals? Has anyone replaced them that already had better pads and braided lines and still felt more improvement?

Second, are there places that sell brand new CBR954RR calipers, or do I have to buy used/refurbished? I don't like used, I like shiny new stuff so I hope I can buy new.

USMCOBRA ... still on here.  Man, I thought we had lost you.  I'm not sure if you know this, but 3 of the old crew have either passed or disappeared.  I drop in here once or twice a year just out of interest and curiosity.  Have had to give riding due to health but still have a need to read and write about motorcycles.

Sorry, Daz .. a bit of a thread hijack but had to message a brother ;)

So the most recent bikes from hyosung that I could find are the GV300S and the same old GT250R just with ABS and the new wheels that were on the concept bikes we saw in EICMA a few years ago.

And with manufacturing moved entirely to China, do you guys think that KR motors just gave up on Hyosung and decided to just make small bikes that are mostly sold in south and south east Asia?

From what I can gather we get redirected from korider.com to hyosungforum.com. Atleast we have an ssl certificate in place, so thank you for that.

Latest SMF too, I wonder if this was a hosting provider change and thats why the outage occured.

I also revered to the SMF default theme. Sunrise just gave me a headache.
oh, I didn't even notice the site actually changed!

Sorry all, Korider.com was on a bad domain host company. Dropped the domain and picked it back up. That lit a fire under me to transfer hosts and get the site back in shape.

Do you like the old forum theme better? I can make it available. The old theme author no longer updates it so I had to switch. Sunrise seems somewhat modern and mobile friendly. You can change colors on top right.

Same owner. Life was busy so I fell way off site maintenance. No good excuse.

My eyes thank you! That white was indeed a sunrise in my face lol and thank you for bringing the site back.
